About Holicow™

holicow™ fabrics are made by a centuries old process of hand-block printing on cotton.

Because this is all done by hand and then dried by the sun, differences in color and printing do occur. These are not imperfections or flaws, but rather what makes this hand-made process unique and adds to the charm of each individual piece.

All children's clothing products are printed by hand on 100% cotton fabric and made in Los Angeles, California.

About US

Following an extensive career at start-ups, including iVillage and The Knot, Susan moved to California and began an interior design business that is still flourishing today. Having always been interested in designing a clothing line, the inspiration came from Susan’s young daughter. It began with one pair of pants and they couldn’t walk down the street without someone asking where they were from. As demand grew, Susan’s entrepreneurial sprint took over and holicow was born. She partnered with her sister, Nancy, who brings with her 25 years of experience in the fashion industry and is now the Director of Sales at holicow.

With holicow, Susan and Nancy wanted to create a high quality collection of clothes made from 100% cotton that was both easy to care for and fun to wear. Ideal for the California weather, many of the pieces are designed to grow with your children. The simple and whimsical designs are especially great for kids who want clothes that move with them as they are made from loose, lightweight fabrics with seams that don’t touch the body and comfortable elastic. holicow’s designs suit an active child’s lifestyle.

holicow is growing quickly. Keep an eye out for the addition of the woman's collection online, launching in Fall 2017
